Service Providers

Positive Behavioural Support is recognised as an ethical and effective way of supporting people with learning disabilities who are at risk of behaviour that challenges. As a service provider it can be daunting to know where to begin to assess your own provision in relation to the PBS Competence Framework and current guidance on the provision of quality services and best practice.

The following resource is a self-assessment checklist to evaluate your PBS provision and create an action plan to develop your practice, policies and systems to ensure PBS is delivered to a high standard at all levels of your organisation. There is an editable Word document of this part of the checklist that can be downloaded for you to fill in electronically.
